How to add a new SPOT device

To add a New SPOT device, click on the ADD NEW SPOT DEVICE button Note: Not to be used for a device replacement, upgrade or swap. These must be done using the DEVICE SWAP or UPGRADE YOUR SPOT DEVICE options

How to use the FILTER option

To narrow your search for a specific SPOT device, the FILTER DEVICES option can be used to filter by: Device Type Device Name ESN Step 1 : Enter the device type under the FILTER DEVICES drop down field Step 2 : Enter additional filter options inside the field next to FILTER DEVICES (search by name. type or ESN) Step 3 : Click APPLY when ready to view the filtered results Step 4 : Click on CLEAR to remove the filter

View/Edit Contacts (if applicable)

View/Edit Contacts and Contact Groups for sending Custom Messages Only available for products that have custom SMS and email capabilities Syncing the SPOT device with SPOT My Account is required for contacts and contact groups to appear on your device. SMS contact must include the country code, area code and number Note: Some special characters may not be allowed when entering contact information. Please limit special characters when possible

View/Edit SOS Contacts (if applicable)

View/Edit Emergency contacts and additional information to assist in case of an SOS rescue attempt Click on the SOS bar to view or edit the emergency contacts and/or additional information The Search and Rescue team will attempt to make contact with the registered owner, primary emergency contact and/or the secondary emergency contact The SAR team will use the information provided by the device, emergency contacts and the additional information provided to assist in case of a rescue attempt Add/edit the information required and click on SAVE Note: if you are lending your SPOT device to someone else, an option to change the emergency information in this section is available by clicking in the check box (shown below)

Upgrade your SPOT device

Click on to replace your current SPOT device with an upgraded version
